🌟 SAE Spotlight: Allesia 🐴

For her SAE, Allesia volunteers at Jupiter Rising, an equine sanctuary dedicated to horses who have reached the end of their chances. These are horses that have often been returned time and time again and labeled as “too difficult” or “not fixable.” But at Jupiter Rising, they’re given something many have never had — patience and a chance to start over.

Allesia works with horses like Shadow, helping them learn that it’s okay to trust humans again. She understands that healing can’t be rushed and works with each horse on their terms, patiently waiting for them to accept what they need.

Through her compassion, patience, and dedication, Allesia is helping these horses rebuild trust and showing that sometimes the ones others give up on simply need someone willing to believe in them. ❤️

SAE is due June 1 - this means that all parts of AET should be updated, and a signed signature form must be turned in to your SAE supervisor.

On June 3rd, the Wamogo Agriscience Program is hosting Awards Night. The Wamogo FFA Alumni and Supporters will be holding a basket raffle during this event. This week we are highlighting Natalie Lofquist and her incredible Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) at Wagging Tails! 🐾

Natalie has combined her passion for animals with hands-on learning by working with dogs and their owners in unique and exciting ways. At Wagging Tails, Natalie teaches swim lessons for dogs, helps owners learn how to safely introduce and support their dogs in the water, and assists with dock diving events. From building canine confidence in the pool to creating positive experiences for both pets and owners, Natalie plays an important role in promoting water safety and fun.

Through her SAE experience, Natalie is gaining valuable skills in animal behavior, communication, customer service, and event management while making a positive impact on the dogs and families she works with.

We are proud of Natalie for diving into this opportunity and turning her love of animals into meaningful real-world experience! 💙
