Great meeting last night celebrating our top scholarship winner Madison from OWTH who will be attending UMASS to study veterinary medicine and learning the fascinating history of LCUC from Alex Dubois from the Litchfield Historical Society!

Preparations for our Summer Meeting are underway. This Thursday 6/23 at the Torrington Country Club. Our Scholarship Committee awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to Litchfield County high school seniors. Way to go LCUC!

Thanks to our Scholarship Committee:John, Jake, and Brock! Our club awarded over $70,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors in spite of Covid-19.

All the best to each and every one of you as you head off to your freshman year!

The Litchfield Country University Club has awarded a total of $67,000 in scholarships to seniors from Litchfield County entering college in the fall. Congratulations Class of 2020!

Thanks, members, for a super Summer Meeting! Our speaker was engaging and informative, the food delicious, and most importantly-our top Scholarship Awardee and her family were able to attend. Continuing and supporting education in Litchfield County is our purpose and Brierley reminded us of this quite eloquently.

Plans underway for our Winter Meeting and information will be shared in the fall. Meanwhile, thanks for all the support and commitment to encouraging new members, adding to the funds for scholarships, and offering your time to help with organizing scholarships and future meetings!
