Celebrating Our September 2026 Student of the Month!

The Rotary Club of PebbleCreek and The Hilltop School for the Arts are proud to honor Kate L for her Outstanding Achievement in Leadership! Nominated by Mrs. Gabbert, Kate exemplifies true student leadership both in and out of the classroom.

As a passionate actor, Kate brings a bright, positive energy to every class and approaches each opportunity with curiosity and enthusiasm. She leads by example through her collaborative spirit—actively listening to diverse perspectives, respecting her peers, and building on shared ideas to make thoughtful choices that uplift those around her.

In recognition of her leadership, Kate will be honored at a special celebration in late April at The Hilltop Theatre and Concert Hall. Additionally, in her honor, the Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary Club is making a donation to the Watts of Love Foundation to fund a solar light for a family without electricity in Kenya.

Congratulations, Kate, on this well-deserved achievement and for making a meaningful impact both locally and globally!

🦚 Portrait of a Graduate: Recognizing Students Who Exemplify Critical Thinking!

Congratulations to Henry from our Academy of Instrumental Performance, who was nominated by Mr. Quintana for exemplifying Critical Thinking, one of our Portrait of a Graduate tenets!

Henry has quickly embraced the routines and practices of an academic musician, using critical thinking to strengthen his craft. After studying academic articles about the techniques and nuances of brass embouchure, Henry was able to analyze the information and apply it directly to his own playing. His growth in tone quality, dedication to improvement, and willingness to learn through multiple approaches make him an outstanding example of critical thinking.

Abby consistently takes responsibility for her learning and understands what she needs to be successful in the classroom. She independently manages her needs without distracting those around her and is always ready to refocus and work hard when it is time to complete an assignment. 🦚 Portrait of a Graduate: Recognizing Students Who Exemplify Integrity!

Congratulations to Ava from our Academy of Theater - Set Design & Theater Production, who was nominated by Mrs. Farrington for exemplifying Integrity, one of our Portrait of a Graduate tenets!

Ava consistently demonstrates hard work, kindness, and leadership while making those around her feel supported and included. She is always willing to help others, especially classmates who need extra support with sewing, and does so with patience and encouragement. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to lead by example make her an outstanding role model for her peers and a wonderful example of integrity.
