🏞️ Learning Beyond the Text!

As an extension activity to last week’s 5th Grade Wonders anchor text, students partnered up to research a national park of their choice! 🏔️🌲

Working collaboratively, students gathered information, explored their chosen park, and created a Google Slides presentation to share their learning with their classmates. 💻📚

We love seeing our Roadrunners take their learning beyond the pages of a story and turn it into something they can share with others! ❤️🤍💙

🤝 Wednesday Buddy Class!

Another wonderful Wednesday of Buddy Class fun! 💙❤️

Today, Mrs. Nelson’s 5th grade class partnered up with Mrs. Schilling’s 3rd grade class for a fun “Hot Seat” interview activity! Students took turns asking each other questions, learning more about their buddies, and making connections along the way. 🥰

It was so much fun watching our students build friendships, practice communication skills, and enjoy time together! They all had a blast! 🥳📚

Our Roadrunner family is sending so much love and support to the Pryor family, their friends, staff, and classmates during this heartbreaking time. ❤️

Our hearts are with the entire LESD community, especially the Litchfield Elementary, Troy Gilbert Elementary, and Belen Soto Elementary campuses. We are standing together as a community to surround everyone impacted with love, comfort, and support.

Please continue to keep the Pryor family, their classmates, teachers, staff, and loved ones close in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️

Our hearts are broken for the Pryor Family as they grieve the loss of their beloved son. During this unimaginable time, we are hoping to surround them with love, support, and care in any way we can.

Thank you to our incredible community for the prayers, kind words, meals, and support you have already shown. At this time, gift cards for meals, groceries, or food delivery would be especially helpful, as they will give the family flexibility and allow them to choose what they need, when they need it. We will have the link below (and in our bio) if you would like to contribute to the meal train.

We will also be collecting cards and letters in the front office for anyone who would like to share their condolences that way. We will make sure they are passed along to the Pryor Family.

Our Roadrunners were so excited to get outside and PLAY! Mrs. Fox was enjoying some recess time with our kindergarteners and snapped a few pictures of all the fun. 📸🥰
