A little Kumite

Arizona Dojo Challenge Saturday 11/2/13 registration opens at 8:00am Tournament start time 9:00am. Come out and join us for a great day of competition. Every student that places 1st 2nd or 3rd gets points toward your Dojo. The Dojo with the most points at the end of the event wins the 6' traveling trophy and defends it the next year. We have had this tournament for 6 yrs now, and this year we are having a larger event, come out and represent your school and have fun meeting fellow martial artist in the valley. Instructors please contact me if you would like to have a certain event at the tournament or with any questions. It is a learning experience for the students, so we do allow Instructors to "coach" the students during the competition Call 602 670-6622 for more information

Good morning gentlemen, just a quick follow up to the Speakman event. In order to give everyone plenty of time to prepare/free your schedules we have tentatively scheduled the event for 2 nights. we have spoken to "Master Ken" and have asked him to conduct a seminar on the evening 9/6/13 (Friday) with a meet and greet dinner to follow. The following day 9/7/13 we would like to sponsor a statewide Tournament. (AZMARRS) We are looking for a facility on the westside of the valley (please let us know if you have any suggestions) As I stated previously this is tentative, if anyone has any ideas please feel free to let everyone know here on this page. Oss!!!Good afternoon everyone, it is a great day to start something new. We had our first meeting (next meeting hopefully middle of Sept. anyone interested in hosting?) last Saturday and it was very encouraging. I will apologize for not advising a few of the Studios of the first meeting, but I have spoken to many of you in the past and I am aware of your thoughts and concerns. I firmly believe that with a group of people working toward a common goal we can succeed in changing the face of Martial arts here in our State. So let's use this "page" to network and keep all of the Studios informed of upcoming events that your Dojo may be organizing, so that you can get the full support of the Martial Arts Community here in Arizona. Please send your website address and any Social Media you may use. I just put this together so of course it is incomplete, but my hope is that within a few weeks we should have it up and going for everyone to access.
