🎉 Multiplication Mastery in Ms. Frasier's Class! 🎉

Last Friday, students built their multiplication skills through hands-on games — from dice challenges to multiplication bingo and speedy flashcard races! They were engaged, motivated, and having fun while strengthening their math fact fluency.

A big shoutout to Ms. Frasier for making math meaningful and memorable. Way to go, mathematicians! 🔢✨

It was such a joy to see so many of you at our Book Fair, STEM Night with the Science Center, and Title 1 meeting all in one evening. Your support means the world to our students and our school community.

Nights like this remind us how lucky we are to have families who show up, get involved, and make learning fun. We hope your kids went home excited about new books and cool science discoveries!

The chain has found its newest home — congratulations to Janet Ponce, our incredible ELL Specialist here at Dreaming Summit Elementary! 🎉

Mrs. Ponce works tirelessly with our English Language Learners, meeting each student exactly where they are and helping them find their voice, build confidence, and grow every single day. Her dedication is a true reflection of Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood — she listens, she connects, and she leads with empathy in everything she does.

As a Leader in Me school, we know that great leadership shows up in the quiet, consistent moments too — and Janet embodies that for our EL students and staff alike.

Yesterday, our incredible teachers came together for a Professional Development day rooted in The Leader in Me — building the same habits of leadership and teamwork that we teach our students every day! Synergize!

One of the highlights? A game of Chopsticks to the beat 🥁✋ — proving that even the simplest games can build trust and connection when a teams rely on each other.

There was laughter, rhythm, and genuine teamwork in every corner of the room. Because when our educators grow together, our students thrive. 💙

This week, our young leaders have been busy creating their very own classroom missions — thinking deeply about who they want to be and how they want to treat each other. It's amazing to watch them take ownership of their learning and their leadership journey! 🌈✨

Get ready for an evening where imagination meets innovation! Join us for our STEM Extravaganza, where every hands-on challenge is inspired by your child's favorite children's books. 📚🔬

Bring the whole family for engaging STEM activities that bring beloved stories to life!

📖 Book Fair — 5:00–7:00 PM in the Library

One of our favorite Dreaming Summit Elementary traditions is back in action! The Bulldog Chain is passed from staff member to staff member as a way of recognizing excellence in one another — and it's already made its rounds during these first two weeks of school!
