"Black communities are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19."

That is what the headlines have been saying as of late. To some of us, this is not a shocker, however, to most it is. But why? Well, this episode I spoke with Dr. Aja Reynolds, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Urban Education and Critical Race Studies in the Teacher Education Department at Wayne State University with a background and emphasis on working with educators and communities in sustaining freedom schooling for Black youth and those from other marginalized communities, and supporting pathways to increase Black and Brown teachers in PreK- 12 schools. Join us as we talk about education and of course the COVID-19 pandemic in Black communities. Tune in: https://lnkd.in/gbfMvEz
