Dear Parents,

Please be advised that Open Door Christian Academy will be closed today, Wednesday, 01/07/2026, due to the winter storm.

All extracurricular activities and after-school programs are also canceled for today. We anticipate that school will resume tomorrow, on a normal schedule.

Dear ODCA Families,

Due to the Winter Storm Warning issued for our area, Open Door Christian Academy will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2.

While the snow may not begin until mid-morning, the forecast indicates heavy accumulation and hazardous visibility during our scheduled dismissal times. To ensure the safety of our students, parents, and staff on the roads, we have decided to cancel classes for the full day.

We look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday. Stay warm and safe!

Open Door Christian Academy is now hiring for the 2026–2027 school year! We are currently accepting resumes for multiple teaching positions across all grade levels, from kindergarten through high school. If you are passionate about Christian education and dedicated to helping students grow academically and spiritually, we invite you to apply and join our team.

In addition, we are urgently seeking a part-time Teacher’s Aide/Assistant to support our 1st–2nd grade classroom. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with young children, is dependable, and has a heart for serving in a Christ-centered environment. We encourage interested applicants to apply promptly, as this role needs to be filled as soon as possible.

As the dust settles on the events of this past week, we pause to acknowledge the martyrdom that has taken place. Charlie Kirk was a steadfast Christian who consistently stood against the growing tide of anti-Christian values in our nation. His bold presence and unwavering commitment to truth will be deeply missed within the Christian community.

We trust that the Lord has a plan for this country, and we believe we are witnessing His work unfold before our very eyes. In light of this, we reaffirm our commitment to the mission that Charlie so passionately championed.

At Open Door Christian Academy, we will honor his legacy by continuing to provide an exceptional education grounded in Biblical truth and rooted in the unchanging Word of God.
