Dear Families,
The Education Foundation has generously fully funded our field trip to Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield, NH for all students in grades 8-12 to attend a professional performance of Shakespeare’s timeless classic, Romeo and Juliet on Friday, September 27th. Students will be leaving school at 8:15 a.m., to return
shortly after 1:00 p.m. We will be traveling by school bus.
Students should plan to either bring a bag lunch or they can pick up a to-go lunch from the cafeteria to eat right after the performance. We will need to know whether students are planning on bringing their lunch or picking one up; please check the appropriate box on the permission slip so we can let the kitchen staff know. All permission slips should be filled out and returned either to me or the office by Thursday, September 19th so we can get an accurate count to the theatre. Because this is a professional theatre performance, students are encouraged to dress appropriately. There will be no photographs or recording during the play and cell phones must be turned off, as well. This is in compliance with theatre rules. If there are questions about the trip, please contact me at school through email at [email protected]. If you’d like to see the rest of the fall shows available at Weathervane, you can visit their website at https://weathervanenh.org/.
Thank you for your support for both our students and live theatre!
Sincerely,
Carlene M. Gadapee
