The purpose of The Maine Blues Festival is to promote blues music as a uniquely American idiom and art form, to facilitate prominent, high visibilty performance opportunities for as many Maine-based blues artists as possible before as large an aggregate audience as possible, and to support education programs in Maine public schools and colleges.The Maine Blues Festival operates from the belief tha

Just 3 days till we kick-off the 20th Anniversary Maine Blues Festival!!!

A couple reminders and tips to help you enjoy our event...

Show up early Friday night at the Railroad. The tent fills up quick! Music starts at 6pm with The Juke Joint Devil Band We'll have a Special Surprise Guest open the blues jam for us at 8:45!! You won't want to miss it!

Saturday is all day! Music start at 12pm noon with Poke Chop and the Other White Meats!
Noah Watts and The All-Star Blues Jam will wrap things up from 8:15pm - 12am midnight!
Bring your sunscreen, drink lots of water! Visit both Railroad Pub & Frank's Restaurant & Pub for great food drinks and music.

Bring cash for food, drink, tips for the waitstaff and tips for the bands.
!!!There IS an atm on site at Railroad!!!

Please leave the pets at home. Service animals only.

!!Friday and Saturday Night Blues Jams:
Musicians that show up to play must sign up to get on the list. Show up early to get a spot on the list. It will fill up fast! Bring your instruments, cables, guitar amps. We'll have the rest!
