Yesterday our Family and Community Partnership Team traveled to Kent State to learn more about the OhioRise program and how it can be beneficial to any of our Columbiana & Jefferson County Head Start families.

Aetna OhioRISE (Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence) is a specialized Medicaid managed care program designed to support children and youth with complex behavioral health needs. The program helps families access mental health services, care coordination, community resources, and individualized support. OhioRISE works alongside families, schools, healthcare providers, and community agencies to ensure children receive the services they need to thrive. Its goal is to strengthen families, improve emotional and behavioral well-being, and help children remain successful in their homes, schools, and communities.
