🚗 PLEASE READ – DROP-OFF & PICK-UP INFORMATION 🚗
Our drop-off and pick-up procedures will be the SAME as last year.
Please be patient and courteous as everyone settles into the routine during the first few days of school. We will have staff members outside each morning and afternoon to help direct traffic and keep everyone safe.
🚌 DROP-OFF
Bus Riders
Buses will unload on the east side of the Tate Gym.
Students will walk along the sidewalk to the cafeteria entrance, where a staff member will greet them.
Car Riders
Preferred Route: Travel east on Sears Street, continue to Caddo Street, then:
JH/HS: Turn left onto Osage and drop students off at the cafeteria door.
Elementary: Continue on Caddo, turn left onto Sam Tipton Street, where staff will assist students out of the vehicle.
Parents must remain in their vehicles.
Please have your child unbuckled with backpacks, lunch boxes, and other belongings ready before reaching the drop-off area.
Walkers
Walkers should cross Kickapoo and use the sidewalk to the south side of the Elementary.
⚠️ Important Morning Reminders
DO NOT drop students off on Kickapoo Street.
Kickapoo will be closed from Osage to Sam Tipton from 7:25–7:50 a.m.
Please do not drop students off before 7:30 a.m.
⏰Students arriving after 7:50 a.m. must be escorted inside and signed in by a parent or guardian.
🚗 PICK-UP
The same traffic pattern will be used in the afternoon.
Bus Riders
Buses will load on Kickapoo at the east side of the Tate Gym.
Car Riders
Two pick-up lines will operate on Osage and Sam Tipton to help move traffic efficiently.
Please follow all directions from staff members directing traffic.
Walkers
Walkers will be dismissed before the buses have departed and traffic is clear.
⚠️ Afternoon Reminders
Parents may not park across from the school to pick up students.
All car riders must be picked up through the car line.
Kickapoo will be closed to traffic from 3:15–3:40 p.m., or until buses have departed and the car line has cleared.
If you have children on multiple campuses, please work with your elementary child’s teacher to develop the best dismissal plan for your family.
