Good evening, family and friends and supporters of the Mainland Surf Team.
First day back in school and first September practice 🌊🐬💪🏻
Warm water, onshore knee slappers, and team paddle relays 🙀💪🏻🌊
Paddling is a big part of our competition. So is running down the beach after a current drift and getting back into the lineup.
The coaching staff was very proud of the tough performances today.
Keep up the good work Naya, Alexander, Clark, George, Penny, and all returning surfers!!!
Practice Thursday. ShopRite Sunday. Practice the 8th and HOME opener on Thursday 9/10 vs powerhouse OCHS.

The team ended our August practice sessions with decent waves every Tuesday and Thursday morning. Thankfully the last session was hard southerly onshore because our contests are after school. We didn’t want to get spoiled on clean, glassy, offshore knee to waist slappers every session 🙀 Mustang Pier gets good on certain tides that only we know about 😎🌊🐬
We have practice after school on Tuesday and Thursday this week, 3:30-5:15.
Bagging at ShopRite on 9/6. And one final practice Tuesday 9/8 before our HOME opener vs. OCHS on September 10th.

Summers over! Winds a blowin’ motherly southerly 💪🏻
The team will be practicing at Mustang Pier this morning from 7:00-9:00. Waves are 2 feet and quite sloppola. Good practice for young shredders. Might be a contest on a day like this 🙀Stop down and say hi and meet the team and Coach Sless.

High tide knee slappers and 77 degree water. Come on down and take a paddle and swim with the team. Tide is dropping so we might have something to ride for a few hours 💪🏻🌊
