Join us in welcoming our high school cadets for the 2026–2027 school year!💜⛏️

One of our favorite partnerships is with Linton-Stockton High School, giving juniors and seniors the opportunity to step into the world of early childhood education and gain hands-on experience with our littlest learners.

Our kids absolutely LOVE having the “big kids” in our space, and we’re always grateful for the extra helping hands, energy, and fun they bring to our busy days!

We have a feeling our families will hear plenty of sweet and silly stories this year about adventures with Ms. Paula and Ms. Maggie. We’re so excited to have them as part of our Mini Miner family!🌈

It’s a GREAT day to be a Mini Miner!💙⛏️

Messy hands, loud laughs, and constant wiggles—the perfect recipe for a first day back! 🫧🎈In some ways, it felt like we never left, and in others, I can’t believe how much they have grown!

✨Tomorrow is the day, and our space is looking better than ever!✨

If you’ve been around the block lately, you may have noticed our brand-new fence! We are SO excited to have an outdoor space to call our own this year.🌿☀️ While we’ll still venture out to our two wonderful campus playgrounds and explore the woods, there’s something extra special about being able to step right outside our doors and play.

Bring on the cooler weather, outdoor adventures, and ALL the picnics!🧺🍂

Inside, we’ve cleaned, organized from top to bottom, and added some wonderful new materials—all in preparation for our littlest learners to return.

Our environment is screen-free, and that’s something we’re proud of. We believe in the power of play, relationships, imagination…and yes, sometimes even a little boredom. Because that’s often when the magic happens.✨

You’ll find open-ended toys, art materials ready for creating, spaces made for exploring, and—most importantly—engaged, loving adults ready to play, learn, and grow alongside our kids.

The space is ready. The teachers are ready. Now we just need the kids!

Day in and day out, Ms. Addi chooses these kids - and we are so lucky she does.

What started four years ago as a high school cadet class quickly turned into something much more. Now, while working toward her nursing degree, Addi continues to make time each year to come back and love on our little learners.

She is the perfect combination of fun big sister and safe, loving teacher - the one who will jump right into the fun, but is also there with a comforting hug when it's needed most. Addi has been one of our most flexible and versatile team members, always willing to step in and be exactly what our center needs.

If you could look inside her heart, we're pretty sure you'd find the faces of our little learners there. She loves them BIG, and they certainly love her right back. 💛
Four years later, we're incredibly grateful she continues to choose us. We love you, Ms. Addi! 🍎✨

Some people simply make everything better—and that's exactly who Ms. Jerrica is.

As we welcome her back for her fourth year at the LSSC Employee Child Care Center, we're reminded how fortunate we are to have her on our team. She is the steady heart behind so much of what we do, bringing compassion, patience, and positivity to every single day.

Jerrica has loved these children, celebrated their milestones, and helped them grow as if they were her own. She leads with kindness, encourages those around her to be their best, and creates a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and deeply loved.

We're so excited to welcome Ms. Rachelle back for her second full year at the LSSC Employee Child Care Center!

Rachelle first joined our team as a substitute, but it didn't take long for her to fall in love with our little learners—and for them to fall in love with her. She's the friendly face who greets families each morning, opening our center with a smile and making sure everything is ready for a successful day.

Rachelle pours her heart into creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. From dreaming up fun activities to making everyday moments feel like adventures, her creativity and dedication shine through in everything she does.

We're excited to welcome Ms. Addison back for her second year at the LSSC Employee Child Care Center!

After earning her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education last year, Addison brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to our team. She plays an important role in connecting our child care center with the Miner Explorers Preschool program, helping create a smooth and familiar transition for our preschool learners.

You'll find Ms. Addison safely transporting children between programs, spending time with our little learners each week, and greeting families with a smile at closing time. Her warm personality, positive attitude, and passion for early childhood education make her a wonderful role model for our children.

We're so grateful to have Ms. Addison as part of our LSSC family and can't wait to watch the impact she'll make this school year! 💗📚🍎

We're so excited to introduce Ms. Casey as part of our amazing team for another school year!

This is Casey's second year at the LSSC Employee Child Care Center, and we're so thankful she's back. She has a true gift for connecting with children—especially those spirited little personalities! She has a calm, patient way of winning over even the toughest cookies and helping every child feel seen, loved, and included.

Whether she's cheering on big emotions, encouraging new friendships, or jumping into the fun, Ms. Casey brings kindness, laughter, and teamwork to our days.
