Our Pre-K friends are kicking off an exciting new adventure with our Storytime Chess program! Through stories, games, and hands-on learning, our children are beginning to discover the wonderful world of chess. 🤍

We are so incredibly grateful for Ms. Leah and all the love, kindness, and support she brings to our Goddard family! 💕 She has truly become a wonderful team player, always willing to lend a helping hand and support classrooms throughout our school. 🤝✨

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
