Lino Lakes just hasn’t been the same without our learners…

The halls have been a little too quiet, the classrooms a little too empty, and frankly, we’re ready for our students to bring the energy back!

Our staff has been hard at work getting classrooms ready, putting the finishing touches on the building, and preparing to welcome our Rangers back for an awesome year. We can’t wait to see these halls full of smiles, laughter, learning, and maybe just a little bit of chaos again. 😉

The Lino Lakes Rangers are officially BACK! 🤠🔬

Our staff was back together this morning, reconnecting, getting caught up on what’s new, and preparing for an incredible school year ahead.

Of course, Mr. Hansen couldn’t let the morning go by without putting our staff to the STEM test. 😏

The challenge: Using only spaghetti, tape, and string, teams had to build the tallest freestanding tower they could… with one very important requirement: a marshmallow had to balance on top. 🍝🏗️

There was planning. There was problem-solving. There was some questionable engineering. 😂 Most importantly, there was a whole lot of communication, collaboration, and teamwork!

And after the dust (and spaghetti) settled, we had FOUR champions! 🏆

Their tower stood an impressive 14.25 inches tall!

Not a bad way to kick off the year at Lino Lakes Elementary STEM School. Our Rangers are ready to think, build, collaborate, and grow together this year! 🌲🔬🚀

One of the raffle prizes from STEM Night finally came to life this afternoon — our Students vs. Staff & Parents Dodgeball Game!

After lots of laughs, great competition, and a few impressive dodgeball skills, I think it’s safe to say the parents took home the trophy this year. 🏆

Good try Lino students, maybe next year….
