Just think of the phrases people have said to you. Do you remember more of the negative ones or more of the positive ones?

If you're like me, negative comments have more weight than positive ones....until I realized that even negative comments have their own positive side they can be flipped to. They can be used to motivate us, give us more determination, cut negative influences from our life, or teach us a life lesson, etc.

We can't control what someone says to us, but we can control how those comments affect us.
