Cloudy skies and a little bit of rain couldn’t stop us from exploring the Kansas State Garden Center in Manhattan this morning. It was such a wonderful opportunity to see so many varieties of flowers and plants and even learn a little bit about them. Our residents truly had a fantastic time taking in the sights and fresh air. A huge thank you to our tour guide, Ms. Sue, for making this day so special and informative. 💐 🌷 🌹 🌱

To celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, we decided to step things up a notch with a full chocolate fountain party 🍫. Residents and staff definitely got their sweet tooth fix, it was such a delicious afternoon! Special thanks to Lori Cook for letting us borrow her chocolate fountain and keeping the chocolate flowing 🍓 🥓 🥨 🍫

What a fun day! We kicked off back to school season with a pool party for the Grandma’s Daycare kids, plus fresh watermelon to celebrate National Watermelon Day and popsicles to cool us down with the summer heat! All in all everyone had a blast!

Beautiful morning and cool breeze! A wonderful stroll through the Clay Center Zoo and a relaxing picnic. Days like this are always fun ❤️

Today was a big favorite around here! Every month our residents look forward to our Funny Money Garage Sale! And today was a hit as always! There is nothing better than seeing everyone gather, hunting treasures and enjoy a fun afternoon of shopping together.
