State Tech-Drafting and Design Engineering Technology

State Tech-Drafting and Design Engineering Technology The DDT program at State Technical College of Missouri is a competitive program. Please see our program website for application requirements.

Through a balanced mix of mechanical, architectural, civil, electrical and structural drafting, students gain a comprehensive knowledge of drafting, using both traditional drawing boards and computer aided drafting (CAD). STC uses state-of-the-art CAD labs and small class sizes to ensure individual attention and quality instruction. Graduates of this program are qualified to work as industrial an

d architectural designers, engineering technicians, cost estimators, and sales technicians. Drafting and design technicians often assist engineers with design and development work. Upon graduation, students are eligible for certification by the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA).

New this year, ALL alumni are invited to join us for a reception at Osage View from 4-6 p.m. Reunion year classes (1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006 and 2016) will be recognized during the reception. Consider signing up for the 2-person, 9-hole golf scramble at Osage View, teeing off at 3 p.m. At least one team member has to be an alumni.
Alumni can also explore campus at their own pace from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with self-guided tours and see how State Tech has grown.
