State Tech-Drafting and Design Engineering Technology The DDT program at State Technical College of Missouri is a competitive program. Please see our program website for application requirements.

Through a balanced mix of mechanical, architectural, civil, electrical and structural drafting, students gain a comprehensive knowledge of drafting, using both traditional drawing boards and computer aided drafting (CAD). STC uses state-of-the-art CAD labs and small class sizes to ensure individual attention and quality instruction. Graduates of this program are qualified to work as industrial and architectural designers, engineering technicians, cost estimators, and sales technicians. Drafting and design technicians often assist engineers with design and development work. Upon graduation, students are eligible for certification by the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA).

Goldfish Hits the Water! 🐟

Drafting & Design students put their creativity and teamwork to the test in the State Tech Boat Race with their very own boat, Goldfish! (Unofficially sponsored by Goldfish crackers)

From designing and building to finally hitting the water, the team had a great time putting their skills into action and representing Drafting & Design. Whether Goldfish was built for speed, style, or simply staying afloat, it definitely made a splash! 🌊

Great job to everyone who helped bring Goldfish from the drawing board to the water!
