Message from CHI-HI Alumni Reunion Group:
It's far past time we communicate our response to the pandemic and other interested parties on our response to the Pandemic. Our Plan is to cancel our planned 9/17/2020 luncheon. We will take the year off look forward to bringing it back in 2021. We'd like to ask our Class Coordinators to share this information with your classmates. Please continue to do your best to maintain your list of classmates. You are our only up to date of graduates. We encourage you to act as a contact for your classmates and to email communications with changes you become aware of.
I, like most of you, am living a summer in an alternate reality. I suspect that none of us feel comfortable and confident with how we live our lives under the threat of the pandemic. At this point it seems clear, our principle hope for a return to "Normal" is dependent on a vaccine becoming available. So it is reasonable that we should be ready to gather again in a year.
Please consider this note an announcement of and an early invitation to the CHI HI Alumni Luncheon to be held on Saturday, September 18th, 2021.
In the meantime, we 'd like to let you know that you can independently reminisce by browsing through all the digitized school history information available at the School web site. Use this link to go to the school website, . There, you will find the old “Breeze” or “Chi Hi Lites” as well as the “annuals” (although for several years they were really just bi-annuals); and photos of old uniforms, etc., and videos.
