Girls Soccer beat defending state champions Waterford in double OT. It's the first time in school history that we've defeated Waterford.

Spending upwards of two hours draining a field with a dixie cup isn’t the ideal way to spend anyone’s time, but for Maeser Prep soccer girls coach Dustin Simmons, he’s willing to just about anything for his players. On Tuesday, with Maeser’s home field still largely a muddy mess despite Simm...

Kale Garner was recently recognized as the Deseret News 2A Player of the Year. This is a huge accomplishment, especially for a defender!
The Player of the Year is voted on by coaches, so receiving this recognition speaks to Kale's impact on the field and the respect other teams and coaches have for him. Kale is only the second player in school history to receive this award in any sport! It's a great way to finish his Maeser soccer career!

Way to represent the badge, boys!

Player of the Year Patrick Stevenson, Sr., F/MF, Lone Peak Stevenson went out in the best way possible, logging a hat trick in the state championship. It was a fitting sendoff for the four-year starter who has played huge in his team’s overall success going back to his freshman year. Offensive ...

This is what we're all about.

A friend sent this picture to me after our championship game. It's someone's little brother, looking out at his older brother's team as they celebrate their state championship. He said, "I'm excited for it to someday be my turn."

He's probably been dragged to every game this season, where he loves to help chase down stray balls. He knows most of the boys on the team by name and gets excited when they say hi to him after games. During halftime he dribbles around on the field with all of the other younger brothers. Right now he's probably imagining what it might be like when he grows up and wears his older brother's number. He's dreaming of greatness, and he's been inspired by this current generation of players. Maeser soccer is about honoring the tradition that we've inherited from those players who came before us, and building the legacy for those who will come after us. Like this little brother. It'll be your turn to wear the badge soon enough, little buddy.
