πŸ’₯ HUGE NEWS, MARENGO COUNTY FAMILY! πŸ’₯

We are excited to announce an INCREDIBLE $600,550 investment that will bring much-needed behavioral health services directly to our students! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Through REACH Alabama β€” Rural Engagement, Access, Care, and Hope β€” Marengo County Schools is partnering with Ally Psychiatry (River Region Psychiatry Associates LLC) to establish a Mobile School-Based Behavioral Health Clinic serving:

🏫 Amelia Love Johnson High School
🏫 Marengo High School
🏫 Sweet Water High School

Students will have greater access to behavioral health screenings, counseling, psychiatric evaluations, crisis support, care coordination, medication management, referrals, and telehealth follow-up β€” right on our school campuses.

This is more than a grant. This is an INVESTMENT in our students, our families, and the future of Marengo County.

We are grateful to Governor Kay Ivey, ADECA, Ally Psychiatry, Basic Administrative Solutions, and everyone who helped make this opportunity possible.

We are beyond excited for what’s ahead! πŸ’™πŸ’›

⭐ START WITH U β€” DAY 3 ⭐

We’re ending our first week with an important reminder:

πŸ’š BE U. THAT’S YOUR SUPERPOWER!

U don't have to look, think, learn, lead, or dream exactly like everyone else.

Be confident.
Be authentic.
Be proud of what makes U unique.

And while you're being U, make room for someone else to be themselves too. πŸ€πŸ’™

Students and staff, take this thought into the weekend:

There is only one U β€” and U bring something valuable to our school community.

Have a great weekend, MCS! πŸ’šπŸ’™
