HOSA junior and senior members participated in Safe Day, where they took on leadership roles by teaching 7th and 8th grade students how to perform both adult and infant CPR. Students demonstrated critical life-saving skills, including assessing an emergency situation, checking for responsiveness and breathing, activating the emergency response system, and performing high-quality CPR.

It was a fun, engaging day filled with real-world learning, and our HOSA members did an outstanding job representing the future of healthcare by building confidence and promoting community safety!

Thank you UTM-Parsons for inviting us to Nursing Day! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
Our students learned how to give injections, perform CPR, and do a head-to-toe assessment. They also got to watch a mock scene where a patient was brought in from a car accident, coded, and was brought back to life! Healthcare is such a rewarding career and I’m so glad my students were able to see it in action today and participate! 🏥💉🩺

ATTENTION:

SkillsUSA and HOSA members will hold a bake sale this Friday in the high school lobby!
All proceeds will be given to help with expenses for Lucas Landers and his family while traveling to and from his rehab facility.

HOSA members are being asked to bring in baked goods and to please wrap them individually in cellophane or baggies. You may bring all of the sale items to Ms. Dawn’s room by Friday morning.

Baked goods and drinks are priced $1.00 each.

Please help us support this sweet family❣️

If you donate something for the bake sale, you do not have to be a SkillsUSA/HOSA member. You can drop your items off at the front office of the high school or contact Ms. Dawn at school and we can come and pick up if needed.❤️🙏
