Students in our Certified Medical Assistant class are gaining hands-on experience and building skills that will prepare them for careers in healthcare! 👩‍⚕️

In Mrs. Devany’s class, students worked as a team to explore the scope of practice for 12 health professions, learn the importance of chain of command in hospital and clinic settings, and practice effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills.

These future healthcare professionals are learning what it takes to work confidently, communicate effectively and be an important part of a healthcare team! 💙

✨Student Intern Spotlight!✨

Meet Gracyn French and Lorenzo Rattray, two outstanding Practicum in Entrepreneurship student interns working alongside Mrs. Sanguinetti, Lindale ISD’s Director of Communications and Executive Director of the Lindale ISD Education Foundation! 📸🎥

From photography and videography to social media, event coverage, graphic design and storytelling, Gracyn and Lorenzo help bring the great things happening across our district to the community. These interns help Mrs. Sanguinetti capture more moments, celebrate more students and staff, and share even more of the Lindale ISD story.

At the same time, they’re gaining valuable, real-world experience in communications, marketing, media production, teamwork and more.

What better way to start the school year than by spreading a little kindness?

Mrs. Manley’s Principles of Ag classes kicked off the year with a fun positivity activity! Students created “pins” featuring encouraging messages and positive words, then challenged themselves to spread that positivity to others around campus.

Each student chose:

👋 Meet our new CTE Social Media Manager!

Hi everyone! My name is Jaimie Phillips, and I’m a senior at Lindale High School and this year’s Social Media Manager for our CTE page! 🎓📱

Outside of CTE, I stay busy as a Social Officer on the LHS Drill Team and by being involved in Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, Student Council, Texas Bank & Trust student board member, and Key Club. I love getting involved, connecting with others, and finding new ways to grow as a leader!

After high school, I plan to pursue a career in finance and continue building on the skills I’m learning through CTE. 💼📈

Fun fact about me: I’m a military brat, so I’ve had the opportunity to live all over the United States!

I’m excited to share more of what our CTE programs are offering and give you a behind-the-scenes look at what we are doing this year!

Law 2 students had the opportunity to step outside the classroom and tour the Smith County Jail 👮‍♂️🔒

Students learned firsthand about the daily responsibilities of detention officers and the important role they play in keeping our communities safe. They also had the privilege of visiting with Judge Heaton, who spoke with students about careers within the legal system ⚖️

Experiences like these help bring classroom learning to life!

Graphic Design 3 student Camila Peinado designed a custom patch honoring students recognized at the Honors Ceremony, while Collin Baker created patches for students in Mrs. Hone’s class who passed their certification tests.

🎓 We are proud to recognize Savanna Holloway for earning her Business Management Leadership Certificate from Tyler Junior College!

By taking dual credit business classes through Lindale High School, Savanna was able to complete this college credential while still in high school. Her hard work and dedication continue to pay off, and we are excited to see what the future holds for her! 👏💼

Savanna plans to attend Tyler Junior College to earn her Associate of Arts in Business before transferring to University of Texas at Tyler to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. 🎉
