We had a few amazing defensive plays tonight but Bremen wins 10-0.

Diving bodies at third from Gloria McGinnis and center field, Heavenly Cheatwood, the Lady Dragons were able to find some exciting outs tonight.

Lots of fly balls were tracked down by a variety of Dragons. We just couldn’t get the bats going.

Next game is at HOME against Temple.

Saturday’s game against Dalton has been cancelled and we will play a double header AT LFO. First game starts at 5.

Heard County ran away from us 17-5. The Lady Dragons held strong with solid defense for the first two innings.

We tried to make it interesting and found a few walks and hit by pitches. Dani Smith-Garcia was awarded the only RBI hit of the night for the Lady Dragons.

We face Model, away, on Thursday at 5 pm.

The Lady Dragons played another great game against the Lady Mountaineers of North Murray. The game was close with a score of 2-2 in the 7th. The Mountaineers ended up walking it off and won 3-2.

🥎In the first, Emma Dover drew out a walk and then senior, Sanaa Evans got things going with a line drive single to center field. Heavenly Cheatwood laid down a beautiful bunt and was safe on the play to load the bases. Kylie Cromer fouled off enough balls before drawing yet another walk to score.

🥎Back to back doubles in the 6th from Addison Tate and Emma Dover scored the Dragons second run of the night.

🥎Haleigh Farmer and Gloria McGinnis both singled in the game to put pressure on the Mountaineer defense.

🥎Defensively, the Lady Dragons gave everything they had. They spoiled several scoring opportunities for North Murray. Jordan Jackson was able to pitch out of a bases loaded situation with a pop out and strikeout along with a fielders choice from her teammate Gloria McGinnis.

Everyday we’re a little bit better! Go Dragons! 🐉

The Lady Dragons took a loss to a very good region opponent Mt. Zion, 12-0. They hit it hard where we weren’t and although our bats had a few sparks no flames caught. Learned a lot. On to the next one. We’ll be at North Murray on Monday.

🐉Addison Tate singled in the 2nd for the only hit of the night.

🐉Many players had lots of solid contact tonight. Just couldn’t find a hole.
