Nyemah saw ENCOUNTER on Instagram and felt a tug…should she go see what it was all about?

She didn’t know what to expect, but she felt the tug to ‘GO!’

She got in her car and drove 12 hours to YWAM Tyler’s Twin Oaks Ranch for ENCOUNTER Night.

And God met her there.

Fresh out of high school and coming off six weeks of serving in Mexico City, Nyemah was hungry for more. She was seeking, and trusting God—and that “yes” led her to ENCOUNTER.

She came expectant.
She left marked.

This is why we gather.

Not to create another event.
But to create space to encounter God.

Because sometimes faith looks like getting in your car and driving 12 hours because you believe God is calling you!

And sometimes on the other side of that “yes” is exactly what you were looking for.

Not another event.
An actual encounter.

This Saturday, August 22nd, at 1:00 pm, we will gather to celebrate the lives of Leland and Frances Paris.

Married for 65 years, and committed to YWAM and their call to missions for more than half a century, they sent missionaries to more than 105 nations.

Within three months of each other, they've both gone home to be with the Lord.

Thirty days ago, we launched a season to stir things up. Some of you came to The Encounter. Some of you applied for Fall DTC. Some of you sent this feed to a friend who needed it. Some of you have been carrying Leland and Fran’s family in prayer these last several weeks. Thank you. You are part of the story.

Now—we send you back out into your week.
Know God. Make Him known.
Send them out. That's the whole sentence.
It's your turn now. This Ranch will be here. Fall is coming.
