Brookdale Summer Shakespeare Ensemble presents a free production of Macbeth!

July 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 2025 at 7PM

Macbeth will be performed on The Great Lawn at Brookdale Community College Lincroft NJ campus. Park in lot 2 or 3 and follow the signs.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket-picnics welcome.

Auditions for Macbeth April 24th 5-8, April 28th 5-8 and callbacks are April 29th 5-out.

There is no need to prepare anything, sides will be given to you at the audition. Auditions will be held at Brookdale Performing Arts Center 765 Newman Springs Rd Lincroft, NJ 07738.

Brookdale Summer Shakespeare was recently featured in a documentary by Stormin’ Arts Players! “Why Still Shakespeare” was directed by Robin Casserly and produced by Stephen Dobbins To celebrate 20 years of Shakespeare produced by The Brookdale Performing Arts Center.

“Why Still Shakespeare” is a look behind the curtain at what it takes to put on outdoor theatre, the bonds formed across a 20 year tradition, and most importantly, why still Shakespeare.
