🎉 Student Resource Fair at the Lincoln Campus! 🎉

A huge thank you to our SGA for putting on such a great Student Resource Fair at the Lincoln Campus today! Our students had the opportunity to learn more about the many resources, organizations, and support services available to them as Gaston College students. 💙🦏💛

A special thank-you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success: GC Honors, Active Minds, Yogi the Therapy Dog 🐾, Chick-fil-A, the Learning Resource Center, Fidelity Bank, and Amy’s House!

It’s always a fun day when our students get the chance to explore, connect, and discover all that Gaston College has to offer!

Donations can be dropped off, during business hours, at Gaston College's Lincoln Campus main building lobby.

Our Leadership Lincoln Class 25-26 was tasked with developing and maintaining a donation box drive benefiting 4 different Lincoln County Non-profits. Our second drive will benefit Christian Ministries of Lincoln County. We are accepting donations from September to November.
Christian Ministries provides daily hot meals, everyday items, and groceries to those in need.

Donations can be dropped off in the donation box, permanently housed in the Gaston College Lincoln Campus Lobby. A list of the most needed items is in the image.

We are excited to welcome the newest cohort of the Lincoln County Schools Health Academy to the Lincoln Campus of Gaston College! 🎉🩺

These 11th-grade students are beginning their Health Academy journey with ACA 122: Transfer & Career Success, where they are developing skills to help them successfully transition from high school to college, including time management, organization, study strategies, goal setting, and navigating college expectations and resources.

This morning, students put some of those skills into practice with a hands-on time management activity. They are off to a great start as they begin their college experience at Gaston College!

We look forward to supporting these students throughout their Health Academy journey and seeing all they accomplish as they prepare for future careers in healthcare! 💙🎓🩺 Lincoln County Schools, NC Gaston College Health & Human Services Division
