First Presbyterian Church Preschool We have moved to First United Methodist Church! We attempt to help children develop a positive self image and learn to respect authority and others.

The purpose of the preschool program is to extend the Church's ministry to children providing a safe, loving, and stable environment for children to grow emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. We try to provide an environment that is filled with relevant activities to the lives of the children entrusted to us.

We were deeply saddened to
hear the First Presbyterian Church in Lincolnton was closing after 200 plus years. This preschool has been a part of the church since the 1970’s. We want to thank all of those people who made it possible for us to continue the mission started many years ago. As the preschool starts a new chapter this week at First United Methodist Church, Lincolnton, we want to say Thank You to the First Presbyterian Church for all of your love and support through the years. Best wishes to the congregation as you also start a new journey. We love you all!

Dear Parents,

We have decided not to have the large parent orientation on Tuesday, September 1 at 6:30 pm due to Covid-19 restrictions and rules set by the United Methodist Church. However, we will still have classroom orientation with you and your child on the morning of September 2nd. We will use this time to go over any information usually covered during parent orientation. Most of you are returning parents and know how we do things so this shouldn’t be a big deal. This provides a level of safety for you, your child and your family. We ask that only one adult attend with each student. You will be sent a specific time to attend and that will be sent to you this week via email. If you can’t make the time you are assigned please contact us to reschedule. We are also willing to set up a zoom call for any parents if needed. We currently have openings and are taking registration so please pass it on to friends and family. We plan to do our very best and everything possible to keep everyone safe and healthy!

We are on track to open as planned. Look for information in the coming days about changes to orientation. We are looking forward to seeing our preschool families!
