Mrs. Patton’s Physics class used golf to demonstrate how velocity and acceleration play a part in sports. Students measured distance and time traveled for four different types of balls, then used that data to calculate velocity and acceleration for each attempt. This wraps up the current unit and rolls into our next unit of forces.
