School Resource Officer Rushing took a quick break today to challenge one of our students to a friendly game of Infinite Tic Tac Toe.

Small moments like these make a big difference at Asbury Academy. Games, quick chats, and everyday interactions help Officer Rushing build strong, positive relationships with our students, creating a supportive and safe environment where everyone feels connected.

Today, the staff at Asbury Academy came together to honor and remember the incredible Dolly Parton. To celebrate her life, legacy, and boundless generosity, our team dressed up in true Dolly style.

Dolly was so much more than a music icon; she was a champion for education and literacy. Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, her passion for reading has left a lasting impact on our students and our entire community, inspiring a love of books for generations.

We are deeply grateful for the joy, love, and inspiration she brought into the world. Her legacy will continue to shine bright in our halls and in the hearts of the readers she helped create.

From seed to snack!

This week, our students harvested the watermelons and cucumbers they’ve been growing in the Asbury Roots garden!

Not only did they get to enjoy the sweet, juicy watermelon right off the vine, but they also learned how to turn their cucumbers into homemade pickles—which will be ready for a taste test in about a week.

Watching our students connect with the process of growing their own fresh produce has been an incredible experience. Stay tuned for the pickle verdict!

A massive shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Huss Pressure Washing for their incredible work at Asbury Academy!

Their team came out and went above and beyond to deep-clean our facilities, leaving the campus sparkling, refreshed, and completely ready to welcome our students and staff back for the new school year. The difference is night and day, and their hard work, efficiency, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

We are so grateful for local partners who take such pride in supporting our school community. If you see the campus shining this week, now you know who to thank!
