We are passionate about providing high school and college consulting to address all questions and concerns regarding planning for and maximizing students’ high school experiences, offering customized, one-on-one ACT and SAT tutoring, and inspiring students to write mature, introspective college application essays that will make the greatest impact on college admissions committees. While we are based in the Northern and NW Chicago suburbs, we also work virtually via ZOOM with families and students across the country and internationally. Despite working with people across the globe, we are a small company, and we pride ourselves in maintaining an unparalleled level of high-touch customer service. Drawing upon her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University, her MBA focused in Marketing from Kellogg (Northwestern), her two years as a member of the Kellogg Admissions Committee, and her years of experience as a marketer and professional writer, Laura George founded Get It Write Consulting in 2006 to help students with all aspects of the college application process. After ten years, Laura began to focus on expanding her business to serve a greater number of clients, and in March 2016, she incorporated as Laura George Consulting, LLC. Over the past several years, Laura has added a small group of phenomenal educational consultants, ACT/SAT tutors, essay coaches, and Parent Liaisons to the LGC team who each have an educational background and extensive teaching/tutoring experience in their subject matter. We are proud of our customized approach to each student and honored to have the opportunity to empower so many students across the country and internationally to reach their full potential in the college planning and test prep process and identify and gain admission to their best-fit colleges.
