Each year, Condell’s Trauma Team holds a 1-day event for area high school students. Trauma Center Day is an opportunity for students to be exposed to various healthcare fields involved in the care of a trauma patient. Small groups of students, guided by volunteer staff, rotate through stations designed to provide a glimpse into multiple fields such as, nursing, radiology, surgical services, rehab services and EMS.
-Date of Event: Friday, April 25th, from 8:30am-2:30pm
-Location of Event: Advocate Condell Medical Center
-Application is open to Junior and Senior Students who have not participated in this experience prior.

Stevenson High School is limited to a maximum of 10 student participants. Junior and Senior students interested in attending may fill out the following google form questions to apply. Special consideration will be given to students who show a high interest in healthcare, but have never had an opportunity to shadow, intern, conduct research, or participate in an on-site healthcare or medicine-related experience. Students who have participated in these types of opportunities in the past would not find this type of experience as intensive or hands-on when compared to their previous experiences. Students who have participated in this in years prior are unable to attend again. Scan the QR code using your SHS email to apply! Please email [email protected] with any questions regarding this.
