District 125 operates one comprehensive free public high school, Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Stevenson), and serves the communities of Lincolnshire, Long Grove and Prairie View, and portions of Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Mundelein, Hawthorn Woods, Vernon Hills, Lake Forest, Indian Creek, Wheeling, Lake Zurich, Riverwoods, Kildeer, Palatine and Mettawa. The Advanced Placement program at Stevenson is among the nation's best. Nearly 30 AP classes are available. Stevenson regularly leads the Midwest region in AP participation and has ranked in the top five worldwide. More than 140 co-curricular clubs and activities are open to students. Three-fourths of the student body is involved in co-curriculars, ranging from athletics to performing arts to civics. The 76-acre campus features state-of-the-art facilities. A 1,200-seat performing arts center and an Olympic-sized swimming pool are some of the resources enjoyed by the community. PATRIOTS, WE HAVE STATE CHAMPIONS — AND THEY MADE HISTORY! 💪
Stevenson Girls Golf captured the IHSA Class 2A State Championship with a two-day team score of 580 (+4), breaking the state record by five strokes!
This is an extraordinary accomplishment and a moment of pride for our entire school community. Patriots, let’s celebrate these athletes and coaches for representing Stevenson at the highest level! Help us recognize their hard work, dedication, and historic achievement as STATE CHAMPIONS!

We are also proud to announce that Mr. Roland Hatcher, choir director, is one of 25 music teachers advancing as semifinalists for the GRAMMY’s Music Educator Award. In total, over 2,000 initial nominations were submitted.

The Music Educator Award recognizes educators who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music education in the schools. Congratulations! ✨
