We’ve been working hard to get our campus ready for our students to return this week, and we’re almost there! 🎉 We just need a little help putting the finishing touches on our brand-new garden beds located near the classrooms. 🌱
The good news? All that’s left is to fill them with dirt! 🙌
If you have 30 minutes—or even just a few minutes—to spare, we would absolutely LOVE your help! We have all the supplies you’ll need, although you’re welcome to bring your own shovel if you have a favorite. 😉
Kids and adults of all ages are welcome! There’s a job for everyone, and we promise it will be a great way to spend some time together while helping make our TBE campus even more beautiful for our students.
Thank you so much for being a part of our TBE community and for always jumping in to help when we need it. We truly appreciate you! 💚

Help us welcome another one of our new teachers here at TBE, Mr. Akoni Bacungan! He is our new music teacher and we are excited for all the knowledge and excitement about music that he will share with our students.
He's a graduate of CSU Long Beach and majored in Vocal/Choral Music Education. He was lucky enough to travel with the Bob Cole Chamber Choir in 2025 where his choir competed and performed in Wales and Ireland.
He loves to play card and board games. He likes to bowl and play billiards and travel.
A fun fact about Mr. Bacungan: he grew up on a dormant volcano in Honolulu, Hawaii! His favorite superhero is Spiderman.

We are looking forward to an awesome school year with Mr. Bacungan. Welcome to our TBE family!

We are thrilled to welcome the newest teacher addition to our TBE campus, Mrs. DiAnne (pronounced DeeAnne) McGuire!
Mrs. McGuire will be teaching 3rd grade. She is originally from the Sacramento area but has lived in Boston, South Carolina and Santa Rosa. She graduated from Sac State and Sonoma.
She loves to ice skate, knit, quilt and cook.

Fun fact about Mrs. McGuire is that she can pretty much name any song from the 80's with only one or 2 notes! She LOVES all things 80's! (We might have to challenge her to a name that tune battle - 80's themed...of course)!

We are lucky enough to add 2 new staff members to our 2nd grade team this year! Please welcome, Ms. Alicia Frank!. She is from Lincoln. She graduated from GCU and is currently pursuing her master's degree in curriculum and instruction.
She loves spending time with her family, working out, reading and crafting. A fun fact about her is that fitness has always been a big part of her family and she LOVES strength training.

Please help us welcome one of our NEW staff members for the 26-27 school year, Mrs. Megan Fosson!
Mrs. Fosson will be teaching 2nd grade. She's lived in CA since she was 10 years old. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton. She has 4 children, who are her pride and joy. She's passionate about building strong relationships with her students and families and loves to help children develop a love of reading and learning.

She loves live music, theater, Disneyland, reading, going to the pool and spending time in nature. She's a proud "Swiftie" and a Diet Coke/Diet Dr. Pepper girl! You can most likely find her on the field cheering on her kids at their soccer and softball games.

Fun Fact: Before becoming a teacher, she was a wedding and portrait photographer and also studied acting as part of her degree.

We are excited for Mrs. Fosson to join our fabulous 2nd grade team and we are so lucky to have her here with us at TBE.
