We are so excited to welcome our kindergarten and first-grade families back tomorrow FRIDAY AUGUST 28 for Meet the Teacher!

Don’t Forget to bring your child’s book bag so we can place an identification tag with their bus or parent pickup information on it🎒

⏰ Meet the Teacher Times ⏰
Kindergarten: 8:30–9:15 a.m.
First Grade: 9:30–10:15 a.m.

✏️Please arrive on time so you do not miss any important information

🪪 Guardians, please bring your identification in case you need to clarify information with the office or pick up a parent pickup tag.

Preschool families will have their Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, September 3, from 12:00–1:00 p.m.

We cannot wait to see our Morris families and kick off the 2026–2027 school year together ♥️💛🖤

We’re ready to kick off another school year, and what better way to do it than with a night full of music, food, local shops, vendors, and BUC PRIDE!

Join us Friday, September 4th from 5–8 PM in Downtown Milford for the Back to School Teachers & Students Street Party! Bring the family, grab your friends, and come celebrate the start of a brand-new school year with our Milford community! Plus, don’t miss the school supply giveaway! ✏️📓

Join us for our FREE Back-to-School Resource Day on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM at Milford Central Academy (Bus Platform).

🍎 Kindergarten registration assistance (computers and translators available)
🎒 FREE school supplies (while supplies last)
🍎 Snacks for families
✂️ FREE haircuts (advance registration required – scan the QR code on the flyer)
🩺 Medical services (advance registration required – scan the QR code on the flyer)

🏴‍☠️🌟 Countdown for an exciting school year is on🌟🏴‍☠️

Meet the Teacher is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to welcome our Kindergarten and First Grade families on Friday, August 28! Stop by to meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, and make sure transportation information is up to date.

🎒 Please bring your child’s backpack so we can attach transportation tags!

🪪 Be sure to bring a photo ID if transportation information needs to be updated

✏️Kindergarten Countdown Has Begun ✏️

We can't wait to meet our newest Morris Little Bucs!

If your child will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2026, it's time to register for kindergarten for the upcoming school year 🍎

Families can register online or join us at one of our in-person registration events:

🌟July 27 – Morris Early Childhood Center
🌟August 10 – Benjamin Banneker Elementary School

Be sure to bring your future kindergartener with you! Student screenings will be held during both events, and translators will be available to assist families.

We're looking forward to a day full of games, laughter, teamwork, and lots of fun!
To help your child have the best day possible, please send them with:
👟 Closed-toed shoes
☀️ Weather-appropriate clothing -> estimated weather of 72 and sunny !
🧴 Sunscreen applied before school
💧 A labeled water bottle
