He has been a featured presenter at the National Youth Advocacy and Resilience Conference, The 51st Annual Conference for Middle-Level Education, and the 2023 Nebraska Clerks Institute Academy and delivered the Commencement Address at Boys Town (NE), University of Nebraska-Kearney, Fremont Public Schools, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Doane University, Kansas Children’s Service League, Greenbush - The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center, and Nebraska Society of Association Executives. His work and program development abilities, particularly his innovative approach to youth leadership, were featured in the 2021 regional Emmy-nominated 'We Will Not Be Silent,' and he was profiled on the podcast Leading with Purpose. Ferguson is the 28-year lead adult advisor of the Rev. at the Rally, overseeing the planning and execution of components associated with the annual event.
