I appreciated being invited back last week to support this group, and I'm honored to be part of it.

I appreciate the University of Nebraska-Lincoln CARE leadership for continuing to trust me with a small part of their team’s development and their important work supporting individuals and communities impacted by interpersonal violence.

Our time focused on what we bring to the table, why relationships matter, and how we Lean In Louder™ through relationship credentials and hospitality, intentionally creating connection, trust, and an experience where people feel valued.

Grateful for the trust and another opportunity to invest in people through purpose. I look forward to Part II in a few weeks.

“Remain yourself. But reinvent yourself.” — Trey Anderson III | Original Stocks Up! Member

To hear that from a young man I’ve watched grow through Stocks Up! hit differently.

We came together years ago around value, love, and respect. This reunion at 93.7 The Ticket was a chance to hear who these young men have become and the love they still have for one another.

Different paths. Still walking together.

Honored to once again support Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln an organization whose data is rich and whose impact reaches far beyond Lincoln, but at its core, has always been about relationships.

My own history with the organization goes back to college, when I served as a Big, and continued as an employee and later a board member. I’ve seen firsthand how Bigs and Littles shape and transform one another’s lives but we also can’t overlook the impact those relationships have on the greater community.

We truly are Bigger Together when Relationships Matter.

And everyone has something to give. Big Brothers Big Sisters Lincoln can help you figure out where yours fits.

I encourage you to learn more, get connected, and find your way to be part of it.

📻 Tune in Sunday at 11:00 a.m. CST to 93.7 The Ticket’s Bigger Than the Score for a special reunion episode.

Travis Turner, Joe Griffin, Charlie Bush III, Agya Adabie and Deunte Herring Johnson (DJ) Sr. came together in 2009 and learned that regardless of what others thought, their personal stock should only go one way: UP.

Now, more than 15 years later, we reconnect through educational journeys, adulthood, careers, and for some, families of their own.

As one of them put it:
"Different paths. Different experiences.
Still here. Still growing. Still trying."

There’s something powerful in that.

Echoing New Edition’s Boys to Men, growing up comes with responsibility, sacrifice, family, and the question of who you can trust along the way.

This reunion is filled with perspective, laughs, growth, and relationships that have lasted well beyond the moment.
