Over Fall Break the Forensic Department here hosted some high school students from Omaha who were interested in careers in Forensic Science or Law Enforcement. These students were apart of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Explorers program. They were able to learn about forensics and gain hands on experience with microscopy from one of our professors (Dr. Murrieta) and practice fingerprinting with one of our upperclassmen (Tori Thurber). Thank you to DCSO for letting us help with this experience!

It’s that time, priority registrations is open to schedule classes for next semester. Make sure to look for your date and time for scheduling. Our advisor Logan may look dead but can still help with any questions (we’re not haunted I promise), just try not to schedule your appointments all at once.
