Faculty Highlight! ✨ Meet Abigail Kabell, voice teacher!
Abigail is a voice teacher and bassoonist from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, with a background in both instrumental and choral music. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she performed with the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Singers. Abigail’s experience spans both classical and contemporary repertoire across vocal and instrumental settings including work with the Nebraska Festival Singers, LNK Vocal Jazz, and the Lincoln Civic Orchestra. She also sings regularly as a choral scholar at Eastridge Presbyterian Church.
As an educator, Abigail focuses on helping students develop both technical skills and musical independence. She creates a supportive and engaging lesson environment where students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and grow with confidence. Her goal is for each student to not only improve their technique, but to develop a lasting connection to music. If you are interested in voice lessons, Abigail is accepting new students for the 2026-2027 season!
