Understanding your personality tendencies and strengths - and being able to recognize them in others - is valuable for both personal and professional success. That is why CEO students, mentors, and board members across the nation take the DiSC assessment.

Becky Boggs joined the CEO team for a morning to help students interpret the results of their DiSC assessment. They learned about natural and adaptive styles as well as motivations and stressors. Mrs. Boggs was careful to point out that there is no one type that is better than another. The team also had the chance to practice identifying the traits through different kinds of scenarios.

S - Stabilizing
C - Cautious

Thank you, Mrs. Boggs, for sharing your expertise about the DiSC. The information will be invaluable as students explore their strengths and learn how to best work as team this year.

It’s Balloons Over 66 weekend! It was a beautiful morning for the CEO team to volunteer. After they helped set up posts on the landing field, students talked with President Austin Hopp, who is also a balloon pilot. Balloons Over 66 is a great community event that draws tourists to our area every year. See you there!

Did you know? CEO always meets at a business, never in a classroom. The team had an opportunity to hear from Patrick Doolin, CEO of Integrity Data this week. Patrick started the conversation by taking questions from students and learning about the businesses they are considering. In addition to hearing about Patrick's entrepreneurial journey, the team received these gems of advice throughout the morning:

🔸Be curious.
🔸Surround yourself with people smarter than you.
🔸The culture of your business should be aligned around your core values.

Students were also invited to give a business pitch and receive a feedback. (Shoutout to Cooper - he just went for it! Nice! 🙌)

Thank you, Patrick, for taking time to meet with our team. We appreciate your support as a program investor, as well as the initiative you took to help bring CEO to Lincoln. The CEO experience is life-changing for our young entrepreneurs!

Students celebrated the launch of their businesses with a Lincoln Daily News ribbon cutting! Well done, CEO Class of 2026!

The Land of Lincoln CEO program hosted its annual trade show Wednesday, April 29. This year, there were three students in the program.

“CEO teaches young students critical lessons of becoming not only entrepreneurs but also life lessons to take any path they choose.”

PRYNT Digital owner Cale West welcomed CEO to his future location and shared his vision for what is coming next. The property at 116 N. Hamilton in Lincoln is the future headquarters for his marketing and social media company.

Most of Cale's employees work remotely, so in the early days of his business, he didn't anticipate needing this brick and mortar location. But since serving as a Lincoln Economic Advancement & Development board member, he has learned more about what is needed to sustain and revitalize Lincoln and Logan County.

Part of Cale's blueprints include conference space, offices, a podcasting studio, and a space for visiting content creators to stay. From the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey, he has always kept scaling up at the fore of his plans. This space is part of that strategy.

We appreciate Cale's transparency about the challenges and rewards of this kind of move. Thank you for giving CEO a behind-the-scenes look at how entrepreneurs can approach growth that benefits both their business and the community.
