Please return ticket money to your homeroom teacher by this Friday, Oct. 16! We hope to see you at the breakfast on Saturday!

Our annual LJHS Pancake & Sausage Breakfast is coming up on Saturday, October 17th, from 7:30–11:30 a.m. Tickets are $8 each for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage. We will also be hosting our Fall Book Fair with Ink and Imprint during the breakfast.

Each student was sent home with 5 tickets ($8 each) to purchase or sell. Please return $40 in an envelope marked “ATTN: LJHS Pancake Breakfast” to your student’s homeroom teacher. If your family is unable to attend or sell the tickets, please return the unused tickets. Students needing additional tickets may pick them up in the LJHS main office.

We have set a $3,000 fundraising goal, and we need everyone’s help to get there! The student who sells the most tickets will receive a gift card of their choice. And there is a little extra motivation this year—if we reach our $3,000 goal, Mr. Allen gets a PIE TO THE FACE!

Thank you for supporting the LJHS PTO and our students. We look forward to a great morning of pancakes, books, and fun!

Homecoming, Part 2!

10/02/2026

Homecoming Week was an absolute blast, and our students and staff truly brought the spirit every single day! Here’s a look back at how we celebrated:

Monday: We kicked things off in paradise with bright colors and floral prints for Lilo & Stitch Day!
Tuesday: The hallways were packed with sports gear and favorite teams for Monsters University Day!
Wednesday: We brought all the feelings to life with colorful Inside Out outfits!
Thursday: From matching outfits to classic black & white, our 101 Dalmatians twin day was unforgettable!
Friday: We closed out the week with Poison Apple vs. Snow White, repping our red and green to support the Lincoln Railers!

Thank you to everyone who dressed up, showed their school pride, and made this week so special!

We’re excited to introduce LINCOLN LIVE — our new student-created monthly broadcast! 🧡🖤

Lincoln Live is a monthly project in Dr. Jordan’s Language Arts & Reading classes, where students get to put their reading, writing, speaking, listening, and communication skills to work in a totally different way. Instead of just writing about what’s happening at LJHS… we’re putting it on camera!

Each month we’ll be bringing you school news, sports, clubs, events, interviews, polls, fun facts, and probably a little chaos along the way.

And the best part? The students are behind it all! They help research, write, interview, film, direct, edit, and get brave enough to get in front of the camera.

Broadcasters: Alic Smith and Jameson Moon-Tillquist Director: Eric Hupp Editors: Angelus Wise-Miller, Rain Wright, Sophia McDonnell, and Everett Miljkovich

We’re learning as we go, so we may not be ESPN just yet. But we’re pretty excited about what these kids are creating!
