Dr. Greg Barnes is excited to join the UNK EDAD team, and to help continue the outstanding tradition at UNK of educating and developing the best and brightest educational administrators across the state of Nebraska and beyond. He received his bachelor's degree from Kearney State College in 1987 and his master's degree from UNK in 1993. He enjoyed a 35 year career in public education in Nebraska with 31 of those years as an administrator in Chambers, Bertrand, Seward, and ESU 11 in Holdrege. He and his wife Pam currently live in Holdrege, Nebraska where they enjoy chasing their 8 grandchildren in Bertrand, Holdrege, and Seward. When Dr. Barnes is not spending time with his grandchildren, he likes working around the house, golfing, fishing, and/or hunting.
