Home of the Annual Spring Strings Festival - a one-day festival for high school string players held

Home of the Annual Spring Strings Festival - a one-day festival for high school string players who have participated in an All-State Orchestra, Regional Youth Symphony, or on the recommendation of a teacher. Held on the University of Nebraska - Lincoln campus, Spring Strings features a string orchestra conducted by Dr. Tyler White, chamber music coaching by the Grammy nominated Chiara String Quartet, solo master classes and a concerto competition.

A pro experience for 40 All-State students from 4 states in 2022. They got the music (Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Warlock, & Walker) 10 days before the festival, had 3 rehearsals with a pro conductor (the dynamic Dawn Harms), 2 masterclasses, and attended a short faculty recital. Join us in February 2023!
