🖤💛 Congratulations to our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Colley! 💛🖤

Mrs. Colley is so much more than an incredible science teacher. She is a coach, an athletic trainer, a mentor, and a cheerleader for our students. Her smile is contagious, her personality lights up a room, and her heart for students is evident in everything she does.

She shows up for our students in so many ways, both inside and outside the classroom. Whether she’s teaching a lesson, encouraging an athlete, caring for an injured student, or simply offering a smile and a kind word, Mrs. Colley makes a difference. She sees our students as more than just students. She sees their potential, believes in them, and cares deeply about the people they are becoming.

That is the kind of educator who changes lives. ❤️

Help us congratulate Mrs. Colley, Lincoln High School’s 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year! 🐻

🏚️📚 Bringing History to Life!

Coach Crunkilton’s U.S. History 11 students stepped back in time to learn about the hardships of the Great Depression! Students created their own shantytowns, also known as Hoovervilles. 📦

After building their Hoovervilles, students completed a writing assignment reflecting on the effects of the Great Depression and how it impacted American families and communities.

This hands-on project gave students a chance to connect historical events with the real struggles people faced during one of the most challenging times in American history.

A special thank-you to Lincoln Piggly Wiggly for donating the cardboard boxes and helping make this learning experience possible! 🐻

🚗💥 Crash Course in Creativity! 💥🚗

Ms. Nash’s Physical Science classes put their engineering skills to the test with a crash car lab! Students designed and built their own cars, then put their creations to the test to see how they held up during a crash. 🛠️🏎️

Hands-on learning like this lets students put their ideas into action, test their designs, and learn from the results.
