Birches students embody empathy, inclusivity, integrity, teamwork, and a passion for learning. Birches School is an independent, co-educational Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade school offering rich, interdisciplinary academics within a mindful, nurturing environment.

After a rainy night and serious snow melt, a hopeful 2-3 class hiked to the vernal pools near campus to check for salamanders! Learning in Harmony with Nature means knowing the rhythm of the seasons and the patterns of the forest and its wildlife. Such an exciting sign of spring! 🦎

The Birches Afterschool crew set a school record for constructing the largest snowball on campus. All that hard work led to some amazing play! Way to go, Afterschool! ❄️

The 4-5s celebrated the culmination of their sleep studies by hosting family and friends for a morning science fair. These fourth and fifth graders can tell you all about the impact of mindfulness, screen time, caffeine, and gratitude journaling on a good night's sleep from their own studies! Bravo, 4-5, and congratulations!
