STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
Noah’s Ark Christian Daycare and Preschool is a ministry of Connecting Pointe Church. The services provided are designed to assist parents in meeting the demands placed on them and to reinforce Christian principles. AT
NOAH’S ARK WE BELIEVE CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM GOD. They are constantly learning, observing, and imitating. Therefore, all of our Christian staff is committed to giving your child individual interaction in a nurturing environment. Our goal is to provide surroundings that have a home-like atmosphere in an age appropriate setting; and above all, loving caregivers. Each child is recognized and respected for their unique God-given talents. Our goal is to help your child identify, develop, and support individual strengths to their fullest. All of our staff members are experienced childcare providers, devoted to children and upholders of our statement of philosophy. All staff members will treat each child as if the child were their very own. Because we want to provide a stable and secure environment for your child– we avoid rotating or alternating caregivers in your child’s room. The friendly faces your child will see will be the same day-in and day-out. As a non-profit ministry, our rooms are staffed based on the needs of the children-not the demands of our profitability. We recognize and appreciate the trust placed in us each time a parent chooses Noah’s Ark to provide care for their child-it is a trust we take seriously. Our teachers strive to provide an educational and developmentally appropriate environment for children that promotes Christian values, enhances character development, and nurtures each child’s individual strengths. STATEMENT OF PHILOSOPHY
At Noah’s Ark Daycare we offer a quality early childhood education program. This program includes a stimulating environment with
activities that provide opportunities for the growth and development of each child physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and
spiritually. PHYSICALLY
Our program provides space, equipment, and activities to help your child develop gross motor and fine motor skills as well as balance, agility and coordination. SOCIALLY
Taking turns, respecting others and sharing are necessary social skills for your child to develop. We provide experience for them to do this by peer, one-on-one, and group interaction. EMOTIONALLY
We encourage children to express their feelings. Since childhood is a time filled with emotions, we feel it is important to let children know they can express their feelings, both negative and positive, and help equip them with the tools to do this in appropriate ways. INTELLECTUALLY
Intellectual development is crucial in early childhood. Our program provides intellectual stimulation through age-appropriate teachings by giving the children opportunities to explore numbers, grasp spatial concepts, practice phonics, recognize colors and shapes, increase speech and language skills, and more. SPIRITUALLY
At Noah’s Ark, we recognize and strive to meet each child’s need for spiritual development. Basic Biblical concepts are taught using a Christian curriculum and reinforced daily through various media,
including Bible stories, songs, Bible verses and prayer before meals and snacks. Christian staff help to portray good role models for your child in an atmosphere of love, forgiveness and understanding. It is a top priority in our program. OUR BELIEF:
That children and families are a gift from God and it is our privilege to be of service. OUR MISSION:
To provide a patient and loving atmosphere in which children can grow, learn and develop. OUR MINISTRY:
To meet the total needs of children and their families (physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual). OUR STAFF:
Qualified and committed to meeting the needs of our families by providing meaningful and comprehensive child care.
“Whoever accepts one of these little children in My name, accepts Me.”

Happy Friday! What a great week we've had!
Our Pre-K friends spent lots of time outside today enjoying water play and exploring on our "rock" playground-finding all the bugs :). There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and fun in the sunshine!
Our elementary students also had a special guest speaker, Jon Acevedo (better known to some as Alvin and Alric's dad!), who shared his passion for woodworking. The kids were fascinated by all the things he can create and had so many great questions. Thank you, Jon, for taking the time to visit and inspire our students!
And just look at those sweet baby faces! ❤️
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We'll see you all next week!

Happy Wednesday!
We have been moving and grooving all week! Our toddlers have been enjoying dance parties and water play, while our Pre-K friends have been busy building with blocks and using their imaginations through creative play.
Today, our Elementary room had a very special guest, Miss Colleen! She brought the farm experience right into the classroom with a presentation about gardening and farming. The children had the opportunity to plant flowers and seeds, learn about growing their own food, enjoy fresh salsa made from vegetables she grew in her garden, and see farm-fresh eggs from her chickens.
A huge thank you to Miss Colleen for sharing her knowledge and giving our students such a fun and hands-on learning experience!

Happy Wednesday!
It has been a great start to our week! The weather has been perfect for water play and outdoor fun!
Our elementary children had a blast participating in a fun Color War, and today marked the beginning of our Elementary Guest Speaker Series!
A special thank you to Jed (also known as Sam, Claire, and Ruby's dad) for taking the time to visit with our students. Jed shared information about the equipment and safety gear used when climbing trees, as well as the different saws and tools used for trimming and removing trees, bushes, and shrubs. The kids loved learning about his work and asking questions.
One of the best lessons Jed shared was that our goal as humans should always be to keep learning. We think that's wonderful advice for children and adults alike!
Thank you again, Jed, and everyone at Burr Oak Lodge for helping make today such a meaningful learning experience for our students! 🌳💚

Our center was truly blessed this past week to receive a grant from Lincoln Littles! Because of their generosity, we were able to add lots of wonderful new toys and learning materials to each of our classrooms.
Here’s a little glimpse of some of the amazing learning toys our children will get to enjoy and learn from every day. We are so thankful for the support and investment in our children and classrooms.
Thank you, Lincoln Littles! 💛
