One little question for the weekend...

Kids are naturally curious—and sometimes the things that capture their attention surprise us the most.

So this weekend, take a moment to ask your little:

"What did you wonder about this week?"

You might hear about a bug they found, something a friend said, a tower they built, a color they created... or get an answer that makes absolutely no sense to you.

Whatever the answer, those questions and observations are signs of a growing, curious mind.

Our giant ring toss turns learning into a whole-body experience!

Lifting and tossing those big rings gets gross motor muscles working, while aiming for the target builds hand-eye coordination and body control.

And then comes the math! How many landed inside? How many landed outside? How many rings did we toss altogether?

Movement + problem-solving + early math = exactly the kind of learning through play we love at World of Knowledge.

And we're pretty sure the littles just think they're having fun.

Circle time with our young toddlers may look like a few friends gathered around a book, but there's a lot happening in these little moments.

As children sit together, they're developing social awareness, becoming familiar with classroom routines, and practicing early literacy skills like listening, looking at pictures, and learning how to turn pages.

They're also discovering something pretty important: learning can be something we do together.

These simple, consistent routines help create a sense of belonging and lay the foundation for skills they'll continue building for years to come.

Growing stronger through play!

Steps, tunnels, slides, and even uneven ground give our littles opportunities to challenge their growing bodies in new ways.

As they climb, crawl, step, and slide, children are learning how to adjust their movements to different surfaces while developing balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and gross motor skills.

They're also building confidence! Each time a child figures out where to put a foot, how to move through a tunnel, or how to navigate the slide, they're learning to trust their bodies and their abilities.

The playground isn't just a place to burn off energy—it's another place to learn, explore, and grow.

And just like that, another week is in the books!

This week we've talked a lot about the why behind what we do—but sometimes it's nice to simply appreciate what childhood looks like.

It's messy hands and grass-stained knees.
It's giggles with friends and trying something for the very first time.
It's asking a million questions and making discoveries in unexpected places.
It's learning, growing, imagining—and having plenty of fun along the way.

We're grateful that we get a front-row seat to so many of these little moments each week.

There's more happening here than meets the eye!

It may look like our little friend is simply peeking through a hole on the playground, but he's actually practicing several important developmental skills while he plays.

As he looks through the opening and focuses on objects near and far, he's practicing visual tracking. Moving his head and body to change what he can see helps him explore cause and effect, while navigating the playground equipment builds gross motor skills, balance, and coordination.

These are the moments we love at World of Knowledge—the ones where children are simply having fun while their minds and bodies are busy learning.

Because when you're little, even peeking through a hole can lead to a whole new discovery!

Learning with our Ladybugs!

Sometimes the simplest activities provide some of the best opportunities to learn!

Our one-year-old Ladybugs practiced dropping pom-poms through paper towel tubes—and those little hands were hard at work. Picking up and placing each pom-pom helps develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, while watching it disappear through the tube and come out the other end introduces cause and effect.

And when it takes a few tries to get that pom-pom in just the right spot? They're practicing patience and persistence, too!

Learning through play doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes all you need are a few pom-poms, a cardboard tube, and a curious little learner.
