Congratulations on our Native American Success scholars' promotion to the next level of their education! LPS American Indian Education and the Native American Advisory Committee want to celebrate this achievement with 8th grade American Indian students.

LPS Indian Education recently held a ceremony at Lincoln Standing Bear High School, but students at Pound were additionally recognized with certificates last Friday. Congrats!

REMINDER: There will be no classes Friday, April 3, or Monday, April 6. All LPS buildings are closed Friday, April 3. Monday, April 6, is a professional learning/planning day.

Pound Middle preps fun pizzas for Career and Technical Education Month February is Career and Technical Education Month and Pound Middle School students got in on the fun and learning by baking up mini pizzas.

All Lincoln Public Schools classes are canceled for Friday, January 23, 2026. Some high school events and practices may proceed as scheduled. Please check with your high school to verify the status.

All LPS buildings are closed to outside reservations, and all non-LPS sponsored activities scheduled in our school buildings for Friday are canceled.
