For the past two days, we attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference at the Hilton Double Tree in Manchester. We had a great time attending the general sessions with keynote speaker Ed Gerety who got us up and moving to make connections, we participated in our competitive events, danced the night away and attended learning workshops.

Lin-Wood FBLA won several awards:
Chairperson’s Award
Honor Chapter Award
1st Place in State Officer Project- Threads of Hope

Maha Awan and Aubrey Caulder placed 1st
in their competitive event, Introduction to Social Media Strategies.

Kiley Clermont, Kate Clermont, and Meredith Sabourn competed in Public Service Announcement.

We all had a great time and are so proud of how hard these students worked!

Lin-Wood FBLA won several awards:
3rd place for FBLA Week Report
Honor Chapter Award
3rd place for our Chapter Scrapbook

Maddy Clermont and Anna Harvey placed 2nd
in their competitive event Broadcast Journalism.

Kiley Clermont and Meredith Sabourn also placed 2nd in their event Sports and Entertainment Management.

We all had a great time!

We had a guest speaker at today's FBLA meeting. Mr. Polimeno from Polimeno Realty and Sunbelt Business Brokers came in to speak to the group about Real Estate, we also learned that he was once an FBLA advisor! Thank you Mr. Polimeno.

Today, for American Enterprise Day our FLBA chapter visited and got a full tour the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain. Thank you to the RiverWalk staff for the tour and sharing some great business tips.
