Don’t forget to join one of our Walk to School Day parade groups tomorrow morning!

Students and families are encouraged to meet up at either Bethany Branch Library or Cross the Line Church, where parade groups will leave with a fanfare of bubbles, music, and other fun. Parents are welcome to walk with the group and families can join whichever site and time works best for them, as shown in the map below.

Joining in the fun is easy - families can:
👟 Drop off their student(s) at one of the sites shortly before the departure time (8:10 or 8:30)
👟 Walk to one of the sites and continue walking with a chaperoned group
👟 Meet the parade at a half-way point and walk the rest of the way together

Students are also welcome to walk, bike, or roll (scooter, skate) independently along their normal route!

Some safety reminders for the Brownell community:
Walking? Always stop to look Left-Right-Left before crossing the street, stay alert to traffic (especially around driveways), and walk on the sidewalk whenever possible.
Driving? Go slow, stay alert, and follow the arrival traffic plan.

We hope to see as many of our Buffalos walking, biking, or rolling to school as possible. There’s safety in the HERD!
